T&T U-19s humbled by Windwards
Trinidad and Tobago were soundly whipped yesterday in the WICB Regional Under-1950-Over Championships, slipping to a six-wicket defeat at the hands of Windward Islands.
T&T made 129 all out in 42.4 overs, with Camillo Carimbocas tops-coring with 25, while Tion Webster and Al Small made 23 and 22 respectively. The Windwards responded by posting 130 for four in 35 overs to secure the points.
Also in the tournament, Jamaica stumbled to 143 for six, but it was enough to see them past Leeward Islands by four wickets.
The other encounter saw Barbados ease to victory over the Americas by six wickets, although it took them 42 overs to confirm the win after the Americas made 104 all out in 36.4 overs. Guyana were on a bye yesterday.
The last round of the tournament is tomorrow.
