T&T bid for WICB Under-15 honours

By Roger Seepersad

The Trinidad and Tobago Under-15 cricketers will have a good chance at glory this year when they take on the other five West Indies Cricket Board (WICB) territories in the Regional Under-15 Championships, in Jamaica, starting on Friday.

T&T have won the title six times, and talented allrounder Kirstan Kallicharan will lead them as they chase their seventh win and their first since 2010 when the Vikash Mohan-led team lifted the trophy.

This year, the T&T coach believes they can go all the way with what he describes as a well balanced team with a lot of potential match-winners.

In 2010, T&T had a similarly talented team that included Jeremy Solozano, Brian Christmas, Nicholas Pooran, Andy Gobin, Jovan Ali, Brandon Ramdial, Jesse Bootan, Justin Joseph, Al Small and Bryan Charles, who are all now on the Under-19 team.
