TWO administrators from Trinidad and Tobago have recently been given major posts by the world governing body for the sport of volleyball.
Mushtaque Mohammed and Daymian Stewart are among six officials from the Caribbean selected to be beach volleyball technical supervisors by the International Volleyball Federation (FIVB).
Their duties will involve travelling to beach volleyball events around the world and dealing with all aspects of the sport.
The two already have a very demanding schedule.
Stewart is the president of the Trinidad and Tobago Volleyball Federation (TTVF), as well as an executive director of the Caribbean Zonal Volleyball Association (CAZOVA) and a beach commission member of NORCECA (North, Central America and the Caribbean).
Mohammed has been the busiest administrator in the region for a long time. He relinquished the post of TTVF president in 2012 after being at the helm for over ten years, but is still the president of CAZOVA, the vice-president of NORCECA and an FIVB board member.
