T&T women cricketers come up short

 Trinidad and Tobago failed to make the final of the of the West Indies Cricket Board Regional Women’s Super50 competition after losing to defending champions Jamaica by 66 runs in their semifinal showdown in at Windsor Park, Dominica, yesterday.

Jamaica batted first and piled up 214 for two off a reduced 31 overs with skipper Stafanie Taylor hitting an unbeaten 101 and Chinelle Henry make 55 not out. 

T&T replied with 148 all out off 30.4 overs with Britney Cooper hitting 57.

Jamaica will now face Guyana in the final today. 

Guyana defeated Barbados in their semifinal yesterday.
