Trinidad and Tobago smashed through Dominica to top Group A while Guyana topped Group B as group stage action in the Regional Women’s Super50 concluded Sunday across four venues in Dominica.

At Windsor Park, Hurricane T&T blew away Dominica by a mighty 299-run margin to secure their place at the top of Group A and book a date with Jamaica in the first semi-final today.

After Anisa Mohammed won the toss and elected to bat first, T&T amassed a mammoth 382 for seven from their 50 overs, scoring at over seven runs an over throughout their innings.

Britney Cooper led with the bat, hitting an unbeaten 155 before retiring hurt. Skipper Mohammed also stood up, scoring 66 while opener Amanda Samaroo scored 53.

Then, T&T proceeded to bowl out a resistant Dominican batting line-up for just 83 runs though the hosts did last all of 40.3 overs. Stephanie Ramcharan, Kirbynia Alexander and Stacy Ann King all took two wickets each.
