T&T/Windwards washed out

Trinidad and Tobago’s final warm-up match ahead of the NAGICO Super50 tournament was spoiled by rain yesterday.
T&T’s full contingent, minus Sunil Narine, were expecting to have a keen contest against defending Super50 champions Windward Islands at Sir Frank Worrell Ground in St Augustine. Instead, they were kept indoors for most of the morning due to rain.
The rain stopped long enough for the Windwards to win the toss and bat for one over before it came again, with officials finally abandoning the match.
