ToolsT&T U-15s beat GuyanaHalf-centuries from Negus Smith and Dejourn Charles gave Trinidad and Tobago an easy seven-wicket win over Guyana in their fourth round West Indies Cricket Board Regional Under-15 Championship match at Conaree Sports Complex, St Kitts yesterday. Set 148 for victory, Smith top-scored with 65, while left-handed Charles hit an unbeaten 50 to lead T&T to their target for the loss of just three wickets. Earlier, Trinidad and Tobago left-arm pacer Sachin Balai took five for 61 to dismiss Guyana for 200 in their second innings to set up the win. In the other matches yesterday, Barbados defeated the Leeward Islands by 186 runs at Warner Park to stay at the top of the standings, while the Windward Islands clinched a five-wicket win over defending champions Jamaica at Edgar Gilbert Complex, Molineux. T&T face Barbados in the final round of the competition at Conaree starting tomorrow.
