Trinidad and Tobago defeated Guyana by eight runs via the Duckworth-Lewis method after their second round Regional Women's Twenty20 match at Kensington Park, Jamaica was abandoned due to rain yesterday.

After winning the toss and batting first, Guyana scored 76 for six off their 20 overs with Felicia Walters taking two wickets for nine runs.

T&T replied with 33 for two off seven overs when rain ended play.

The Women's T20 competition continues this weekend with T&T taking on Barbados at Chedwin Park on Saturday, before facing hosts Jamaica at Kensington Park on Sunday.
