T&T's Greene in action today
Trinidad and Tobago's Carlos Greene will begin his 2012 Paralympic Games campaign in London today, when he competes in the discus event.
Visually-impaired athlete Greene will be in a field of 12 in the event for F11/12 classified competitors. He will also be competing in the shot put event tomorrow.
And T&T swimmer Shanntol Ince will be hoping for much improved results in the S-9 400 metres freestyle, her final event, which is on Tuesday.
On Thursday, Ince failed to qualify for the 100 metres buttefly final, finishing sixth and last in Heat 1 in a time of one minute, 25.60 seconds. And on Friday, she also did not make it out of her heat, again finishing at the back of the field in the 100m backstroke, clocking 1:22.14.
Greene and Ince are Trinidad and Tobago's only competitors at the Games.
