T&T shooters on target in Martinique

A four-man team from Trinidad and Tobago returned triumphant from last week's Trap and Skeet and Sporting event in Martinique, with T&T champion Robert Auerbach Junior taking four top prizes.

The Trinidad and Tobago team of Auerbach Jr, Robert Auerbach Senior, Donnie Maharaj and David Rochford also placed third in skeet overall and second in sporting at the event in Fort de France.

Auerbach Junior copped third place in sporting, second place in trap, second place in skeet, first place in combined trap and skeet, first place combined sporting and skeet, first place combined trap and sporting and first place overall best shooter.

"We did very well," Auerbach Senior said upon the team's return.

The event featured participants from Guadeloupe, Martinique, Barbados, Trinidad and Tobago, Cayman Islands, Dominican Republic and United States of America.
