Tim Kee gets FIFA appointments
Trinidad and Tobago Football Association President Raymond Tim Kee has been appointed to the Concacaf Associated Championships Committee as well as the FIFA Futsal Committee.
Tim Kee received the appointments a couple weeks ago and will serve on the committee which will organise the Associated Competitions and Olympic Football Tournaments in compliance with the provisions of the regulations applicable to these tournaments in Concacaf.
He will also serve on the FIFA Committee for Futsal.
The inaugural Associated Championships Committee Meeting was held at the Concacaf offices in Miami, Florida last Tuesday. The other members of that committee include Mexican FA Justino Compean (Chairman), Horace Burrell Concacaf President Jeffrey Webb, General Secretary Enrique Sanz, Lyndon Cooper Maurice Victoire, Osiris Guzman, Raymond Guishard and Wayne James.
T&T team doctor Terrence Babwah also attended the Concacaf Sports Medicine Committee meeting in Miami last week.
In related news, as a non-participating member association at the 2014 World Cup Finals in Brazil, the local governing body will still receive an allotment of tickets for the matches in Brazil for locals interested in attending the tournament.
“The TTFA will decide shortly on what system will be used for the distribution of tickets for fans in Trinidad and Tobago who are interested in attending the World Cup next year,” TTFA Director of communications Shaun Fuentes said yesterday.
The public can log on to www.ttffonline.com/home for updated information on the process or call the TTFA at 623-9500 for further information.
