Trinidad and Tobago Football Association (TTFA) president Raymond Tim Kee has showered praise on T&T head coach Stephen Hart for the manner in which he has led the national senior team since June also commending the technical staff for its support towards the team.
Hart got his second win in six matches on Monday and under him the team has scored ten goals in six games, while also conceding ten. Skipper Kenwyne Jones has also found the net five times in regular time play.
“I want to be as objective as I can and I will say that Mr Hart has performed beyond what I expected in such a short space of time,” Tim Kee was quoted as saying in a TTFA press release yesterday. “The way he has been able to just fall in and take the thing forward is not usual. I must commend him for the way he has led the team and the work he has done.
“I have not only observed his coaching sessions but his sessions off the field with his players and I can say safely that the body language and the comments coming from the players suggest that they love him as much as he does (them), because I have seen a demonstration of complete respect for him and that augurs well. I have heard that the players have said not only will they play for the country, but they will also play for him and that’s a huge achievement.
“I expect he will take us through to 2018 and both he and Mr Beenhakker have already began the process towards qualifying for 2018 with a proper structure and plan, which the Association is working around the clock to support in the best way possible,” Tim Kee stated.
