In the Under-12 Open category, Sean Yearwood, a Trinity Junior student, got the team’s second gold. Yearwood’s teammates Matthew Inkim and Christain Mack were fourth and sixth respectively.

In other results, Isaiah Mc Intosh eventually placed fouth in the Under-16 Open category following a tie break after finishing joint second. Mc Intosh had had a chance to claim the top spot but lost to  Allon Richards, of Barbados in the last round.

T&T were the inaugural hosts of the championships in 2012. Last year it was hosted by Jamaica and in 2015 it is expected to be hosted in Barbados.
