UTT, Calcutta face off in 40-over final

University of Trinidad and Tobago (UTT) will face Calcutta Sports Club today in the T&T Cricket Board (TTCB) Championship Division 40-over competition, a day/night affair that bowls off from 4 p.m. at Munroe Road Recreation Ground.

The teams made it to the decider in contrasting fashion, with Calcutta cruising to a five-wicket win over Valiants with 13 overs to spare, thanks to an unbeaten 104 from Ryan Hurley, and a brisk 84 from Ahmed Mohammed.

UTT got to the final after squeezing past Jenexcon Tableland Sports by three wickets in 38.5 overs.
