UTT continued their winning ways in the Courts All Sectors Netball League's (ASNL) Alternative Division on Thursday, while University of the Southern Caribbean also won big.
At Eastern Regional Indoor Sporting Arena in Tacarigua, UTT goal attack Latisha Pitt was very accurate in scoring 23 goals from 25 attempts, with support from goal shoot Chris-Ann Petrovanni, who had 13 of 20 shooting.
Sharon Phillip, another UTT goal attack, had three goals (eight attempts).
Police's main offence came from goal attack Giselle Norton Richards (19 of 29), and goal shoots Jeselle Navarro (six of nine) and Jenelle Patrick Diaz (two of four). UTT's charge to victory was never really threatened, although they just marginally outscored Police 9-8 in the second quarter, and then 9-7 in the final period.
USC, meanwhile, whipped TSTT 57-13, with goal shoots Afiya Alexis (29 of 45) and Jenice Smith (13 of 20), and goal attack Gabriella Gooding (15 of 25) taking advantage of the TSTT defence.
TSTT trailed all the way, including 28/4 at the halfway stage, and only goal shoot Sophia Harper (seven of 20 and Coleen Delecia (six of 19) found the hoop.
