Vishnu on top in SSCL Championship Division

Off-spinner Nicholai Kissoon took four wickets for three runs and left-arm orthodox spinner Bryan Boodram snatched four for eight to steer their school, Vishnu Boys' Hindu College to the top of the PowerGen Secondary Schools Cricket League Championship Division with a nine-wicket win over Signal Hill in their round three match at Esmeralda Recreation Ground, on Tuesday.

The pair helped dismiss Signal Hill for 75, before skipper Andy Gobin hit 46 to lead his team to their third consecutive win in the competition.

The victory pushed Vishnu past previous leaders, Presentation College San Fernando at the top of the standings.

Pres San Fernando gave up the pole position after losing to Shiva Boys by seven wickets, at Dabiedial Road, Penal.
