Windies stick with Shillingford

 West Indies captain Darren Sammy won the toss and sent New Zealand into bat on the first day of the first Test against New Zealand which started last evening, Caribbean Time. The Windies chose to stick with off-spinner Shane Shillingford in preference to Sunil Narine despite Shillingford’s action currently being the subject of review. Trinidad and Tobago fast bowler Shannon Gabriel was also preferred to left-armer Sheldon Cotterell to share the new ball with Tino Best
