West Indies women and South Africa women will clash in a two-match Twenty/20 International series at Beausejour Cricket Ground in St. Lucia this weekend.
Both matches start at 4 pm eastern Caribbean time, and will be played Saturday and Sunday before the play-off and grand final of the Caribbean T20 tournament.
The T20 games are being held after an exciting five-match One Day International series in which the Caribbean side staged a remarkable come-back from two games down to draw level.
One game ended in a no-decision due to rain.
"We at the WICB are extremely proud of the West Indies Women's team and what they have achieved as a team and as individual players," said WICB president Julian Hunte.
"The squad includes some of the most dominant players in the game at the moment, and some of the most successful in the history of women's cricket," said Hunte.
Taylor, whose four-wicket haul and half century on two different occasions inspired Windies success over South Africa, is a two-time ICC Women's Player-of-the-Year.
Both West Indies and South Africa, will also be special guests of West Indies Cricket Board president this weekend for an official send-off before they depart for India on Tuesday," said Hunte. –CMC
