ToolsAattT hosts Fourth Session TodayA meeting of the recently formed Association of African Traditions in Trinidad and Tobago (AATTT) takes place today at the Conference Room, WACK Radio Station, Coffee Street, San Fernando at 9.30 a.m. This meeting is the fourth in a series of strategic planning sessions designed to chart the way forward in providing a stable foundation for the upliftment of our African tradition. The group says it is aware of the tremendous challenges that facing the African Community in Trinidad and Tobago, adding that. "the future of our children has been placed in the hands of foster parents for too long." The group continued: "We can no longer sit idly by and allow the destinies of our children to be shaped by others. It is time for us to impact more heavily and respectfully within the national community so that our children will have the powerful legacy that our ancestors have sacrificed to preserve for us." |
