This couple were married on June 20, 1934, a marriage arranged by the respective parents, seems to have been a marriage made in Heaven, a magical marriage that was destined to last a lifetime, literally, althogh the Groom was from Palmyra, San Fernando and the Bride from Sangre Chiquito The Groom was 17 years of age and the Bride 15 years of age. Their advise to newly weds or those planning to wed is, "say sorry", "I love you" and compromise whenever any conflict arises. Theirs was a true Hindu style night wedding. As Doolie put it, " it was love at first sight." They both indicated that they still feel as though are on their honeymoon.
A MAGICAL MOMENT

Dear Didya and Bahnoi, All my children and I are so very happy that what others decry as as child marriage and an arranged marriage has been shown to be a true Hindu masrriage. Love and best wishes, Bhya, (Balgobin Ramdeen)

Congratulations, Aunt Didya and Uncle Bahnoi. Your marriage was truly made in heaven. I am happy that my father is your brother, Aunt Didya, as I continue to enjoy our "family" moments together. Both of you are role models for married life. Leela
