Babylon System

Changing this ridiculous system of our country which is performed everyday as if it is a walk in the park or stroll on the beach is not going to be easy, but I think our present government is making the right moves slowly but surely. The reason for me writing this and releasing my heartfelt thoughts is that the system in which the hospitals of our country are conducted alerted me. Everyday people are suffering right here in a place where human beings, innocent and poor, human beings; are to be cared for. Taking care of people is now a job in the new generation and not something carried out through natural love anymore. The foundation of this generation was infiltrated and poisoned somewhere along the way by these “special older heads”. There are still some of these “special older heads” right here amongst us in our society here today and may also be leaders in the people’s eyes. They should be awarded for their great work throughout the years and be given special care.

Early retirement and getting these “special older heads” out of the way of the righteous will do well. Whoever is going to take action is going to need very sharp blades in order to cut clean, the top of these trees and also have very strong braces for disciplined growth onwards. In other words, replacement from the top of the structure is what needs to be executed.

I am no politician and this is as much as I can say for the time being with what I have seen and experienced. I am sure that there are a lot more that can be done and measures being put in place. At this very moment as I am typing, my father is in the hospital with a stroke. We arrived at the hospital around 3.30pm and he was registered upon arrival after being taken in through casualty. He was given attention at around 7.30pm where a basic checkup was conducted that is, eyes, ears, mouth, nose, muscles and blood taken. The nurse mentioned to us that he will be recommended to a clinic after the result which was supposed to be an hour upon the checkup and she also said that they will not be able to arrive at a conclusion today as the symptoms are odd. He was warded around 1am without a result.

This is just another personal experience with the system and I guarantee worse cases and instances happening on a regular basis. I really hope that this thought can help refresh memories of our human race and uplift the true beauty of our twin island, sweet T&T. Thanking all for any consideration given.

Have a blessed one

Sorry about your father's long wait. Stroke victims need immediate care as further complications may present. When my 56 y/o brother suffered a stroke his wife make him a cup of tea, 2 weeks later mom took him to MT.HOPE..Shortly...he died

The poor always suffer. Ability/inability to pay for private services usually determine how, how, what and when treatment is given. This, is a global problem.

I hope your dad recovers , there are drugs , which if given within 24 hours after the stroke , can increase the patients ability to recover without major impairments. Hospitals should treat stroke victims with as high priority patients.
