Freedom to print what?

In 1993 the United Nations General Assembly declared May 3 World Press Freedom Day, a day dedicated to raising awareness of the importance of freedom of the press and to remind governments of their duty to respect and uphold the right of freedom of expression as mandated under Article 19 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.

As part of last week's Bocas Lit Fest and in anticipation of World Press Freedom Day, a debate was staged. The topic was “Press vs Government: the freedom to print what?”
