By Donstan Bonn

The inaugural Trinidad and Tobago Literary Festival opened at the National Library in Port of Spain, on Thursday (April 28).

Titled Bocas Lit Fest, the four-day festival features the celebration of books, writers, writing, poems, films and music, and brings together readers and writers from Trinidad and Tobago, as well as the regional and international community.

One of the highlights on the opening day was the “Spoken Words” session, which showcased budding local poets.
