Daughter of south calypsonian Calypso Tallish and goddaughter of the deceased Ras Shorty I, Francelia Adams-Jackson has been creating her own waves in the calypso world since she started performing at the age of 12. Adams-Jackson, who is almost as tall as her father and as breathtaking as a model, performs under the sobriquet Lady Tallish during the calypso season. She is one of the cast to perform with the Calypso Revue Tent during the calypso season every year. has the height and beauty to be a model but she swears that her calling is calypso. While she has not won any competition in the calypso world, she has entered and won Miss Mature 2010, a beauty competition for women over the age of 35, which was held at the Naparima Bowl, San Fernando in July. "I felt super duper when I won the title," she said with a laugh. "When I entered the competition this year I said nobody would beat me, I have to win something this year," On her private time, Adams-Jackson owns and operates a hairdressing salon and barbershop in Duncan Village, La Romaine. She is married and has six children: Shanelle, Shakhail, Nahailiya, Shanaqua, Aaliya, and Nassor. And still in a competitive spirit, she has set her sits on the South Monarch and National Calypso Monarch titles in 2011.

2. Your happiest moment?

When I had my first daughter. It was my first experience as a mother.

3. Your secret fear?

To lose my voice.

4. Which living person do you admire most?

Nelson Mandela

5. What quality do you value most in your friends both male or female?

Faithfulness. To find a true friend that you can trust is the hardest thing.

6. What is your greatest extravagance?

My children.

7. The place you would like to visit before you die?

I cannot specify one place, I want to travel all over the world. Just put me in a balloon and let me go all over.

8. What is your favourite journey?

It was walking down the aisle...

9. What advice will you give to people wishing to enter your field?

Put your best food forward. The calypso world is a really hard world. You may face disappointments, but you just have to keep trying. Don't ever give up.

10. What is your current state of mind?

Comfortable.

11. What is the trait you most deplore in others?

Jealousy

12. What is your greatest joy?

I was really happy when I won the Miss Mature. It is the first thing I ever won in my life. lol

13. What is your biggest turn on in a man?

His heart. For me it is not necessarily about his appearance, but about his heart and the way he treats people.

14. What is your guilty pleasure?

I love shopping.

15. What is your lowest depth of misery?

When I lost my grandfather

16. What is your pet peeve?

I hate somebody to tell me something over and over and over for hours. I am a Taurus, don't wave that red flag in front of me.

17. What do you get complimented most about?

My 'ass-ets'.

18. When was the last time you cried?

Last week. I was remembering my grandfather and the good times we shared.

19. What was the first thing you did this morning?

Woke up the children.

20. What do you consider your most cherished virtue?

Kindness

21. If you had one personal wish (which you alone can benefit from hence world peace etc not applicable)?

To win the Calypso Monarch. I have to win it this year.
