Be fierce with your make-upThis week is for the ladies who want to stand out on Carnival Tuesday. The first thing to note is that you want your make-up to last throughout all the jumping and prancing, so it's necessary to invest in long-lasting cosmetics for what will be an energy filled day. Keep in mind that make-up that is meant for everyday use may not be able to hold up under the conditions of sweat and heat, even if it's a reputable brand. For the body paint, use long wear crème eyeliner paint pots rather than regular body paint which cracks or melts, as it has an iron clad grip on the skin and is water- and sweat-proof. So with all that said, let's get right into some tips for the season. Make sure you have oil-free moisturiser or face primer before you put on your foundation. Wear a coat of Vitamin E or sun-block lip balm under your long-wear lipstick or gloss. Use loose powder to set your foundation. Wear loose bronzers on the face and skin to have that sun-kissed effect.
