Extend those lashes

By By Kirk Thomas

A major make-up trend has taken over the world of beauty especially around holiday time, and that trend would be eyelash extensions. They come in so many varieties, and there are even businesses dedicated solely to extending eyelashes. Today I want to deal with this topic as it is one of the most important details in cosmetic enhancements. I can't over emphasise how unfinished a face can look without mascara, or any eyelash definition. Now I know that not all of us are fortunate to have long eyelashes. If you have, then all you would need to do is to apply a few coats of mascara and the job would be done. That's why most of us have to face the stores.

When you go shopping for false eyelashes, be sure to keep these tips in mind.

1. Look for almost seamless, natural lashes, or get the singles (which I prefer to use as they are less apparent). You can alter the amount of lashes you use according to the space. Some of the large, synthetic lashes tend to be too heavy and can prove hard to stay in place, especially if you hardly have lashes to hold them.

2. Pay attention to the adhesive you choose. I know persons using hair weave glue to apply their lashes. But it is better to stay away from any glue that is not eyelash glue as this can prove hazardous to your eyes and also result in losing lashes when removing the glue. Use only eyelash glue.
