It then becomes a trend, mass produced and almost always becomes known as their trademark look. Rapper Nicki Minaj is no exception, and has made wearing Barbie make-up trends a norm.That is quite ironic as she is not in the Barbie type field, but the hard core rapper field. Somehow though Minaj has found a way to balance the aggressive looks sometimes associated with rappers with a super sweet pop tart image. Minaj was here recently shooting her Pound the Alarm video, and I was asked to do the make-up for the cast. Today I want to share the look I created using her as my inspiration to create mini Nicki's. This type of make-up is for the trendy, make-up addict, who loves contrast and slight exaggerations. To try looks like the one pictures here, you would need neon shades of eyeshadows, pale, creamy lipsticks and of course eyelashes. The blush is also coral or pink based.
