Radiating a brilliant level of positivity and merriment, Machel Montano offers up his collection of vibrantly energetic Carnival 2013 hits in his aptly named, Machelements Vol 1.

In this must-have music CD, Machel gives the listening world a finely tuned sampling of the varying aspects to our Caribbean Diaspora sound, as well as the versatility of its many producers and songwriters.

"Energy High" (Intercol Riddim), "Indian Gyal" with Drupatee, "No Lie", "Don't Judge Me", "She Ready", "Drinkin' Rum" (Paradise Riddim), "Witch Doctor", "The FOG", which was written by Full Blown Entertainment, Machel Montano, Kasey Phillips and Nikholai Greene and produced by Precision Productions together with "Float", penned by Kernal Roberts and Machel, and produced by RAMA Studios, Precision Productions, and Studio 758, are all on this dynamic album.

Also included are two incredibly soulful collaborations; the first with Grammy winners Ladysmith Black Mambazo, on the track "Possessed", which was co-written and produced by Kerwin Du Bois. Having been a fan of the South African choral group, since they were featured on Paul Simon's album Graceland, the instant he heard Du Bois' production Machel felt the musical connection to Africa and immediately made plans to connect with the group to feature them on this song.

The track has become the gateway for more musical partnerships between the soca world and South African musicians.

The second is with the greatest selling R&B group of all time, Boyz II Men, who has also won several Grammys. It is entitled, "The End" and was co-written by Full Blown Entertainment and produced by De Red Boyz.

Inspiration for this song came as Machel travelled to perform at Alfonso Ribeiro's wedding. Even though he was weary he still felt the zeal to go and perform. The idea of pushing yourself even though you felt you were at your end, triggered thoughts of masqueraders on Carnival Tuesday night, and personal relationships where neither party wants it to ever end. Amazingly enough at the wedding he met Boyz II Men's manager and the pieces fell together for him to work with them to give life to his fertile in-transit thoughts.

This memorable album became available for purchase from Monday February 4 at all retail stores and online distributors.

Do not miss the chance to own this collection of inspired songs that refreshed the spirit of Carnival to unsurpassed heights.
