ToolsZadd & Eastman ResortA hit at Caribbean Fashionweek CFWCaribbean Fashionweek, the premier fashion and style event in the region, celebrated its 12th year at the National Indoor Sports Centre, Kingston, Jamaica, early last month. CFW is the largest, most far reaching and strategically important fashion event in the region. Pulse Investments Ltd has developed an event of a high international standard to showcase the best of the Caribbean designers, as well as other world-regarded stylists from various parts of the globe. Approximately 50 designers from 20 countries participated this year. Zadd & Eastman has represented Trinidad and Tobago for the past 10 years. This year Z&E featured a playful collection, Zadd & Eastman Resort. Fabrics included a play of voile, silk and cotton. Accessories included straw hats and totes by Janouras. In the process CFW designers have been featured in Vogue, The Associate Press, The Independent, The Sunday Times, Fashion TV Paris, Italian Vogue, The Guardian, The New York Times, i-D and a host of other media around the world. Zadd & Eastman of Trinidad and Tobago is one of the few Caribbean designers to be featured in the most prestigious Italian Magazine "bible of fashion" Le Collizioni. Le Collizioni is known to highlight only the best of the fashion, worldwide trends and cuts. CFW has been recognised as an important new development in world fashion showcasing Caribbean talent to the world. |
