One hundred and forty-two police officers have been charged by the Professional Standards Bureau (PSB) since it was established in 2011. This was revealed yesterday by Inspector Sheridon Hill, at the T&T Police Service’ (TTPS) weekly media briefing at the police administration building in Port of Spain.

Public information officer ASP Michael Jackman was also present at the media conference. “Since the establishment of the PSB, the unit has received over 426 reports against police officers ranging from murder to minor assaults and obscene language, and has prosecuted 142 police officers and six civilians,” Hill said.
